Canada’s new Express Entry Draw inviting 3371 Canadian Experience Class candidates

Another good news from Canada for prospective immigrants as another Express Entry round of invitations was conducted on 15th May, 2020. This Express Entry draw has issued invitations to 3,371 Canadian Experience class (CEC) candidates. What has been more surprising is the decreasing Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score with lowest ranked candidate scoring 447 points. This is a five point’s decrease from the last draw that was conducted on May 01st and lowest CRS score of 2020.

Just a day before this draw, on 14th May 529 Invitation to Apply (ITAs) were issued to Express Entry candidates through the Provincial Nominee Program. The aggressive nature of Canadian Government inviting candidates is a definitely motivating factor for people who seek Canada immigration in near future.  Despite the changes in travel and immigration policies due to COVID-19 pandemic, Canada continues to keep its Express Entry system operational and candidates are still able to submit their profile.

In the past nine weeks, Canada has invited almost 19,500 Express Entry candidates through ten Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee draws, so that they can get permanent resident Canada. In addition to this, provinces are also inviting candidates through their respective Provincial Nominee Program. This provincial nomination is an extremely beneficial factor to be extremely competitive in the Express Entry pool.

Like other draws, for this draw as well, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has implemented its tie-break rule, where the time and date is Dec. 23, 2019 at 10:01:06 UTC. It means that all CEC candidates with a CRS score of 447 and above, who submitted their profile before the said date and time will receive an ITA in this round of invitation.
