On July 14, the province of British Columbia invited 320 immigration candidates for a provincial nomination who had applied under Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skilled Immigration (SI) categories. The invitations were sent out through British Columbia’s Express Entry Stream.
The express entry BC PNP is aligned with the Federal Government’s express entry system to manage immigration applications for skilled workers.
The express entry system is an online system used by the government of Canada to manage immigration applications under economic migration categories. These programs are:
Several Canadian provinces also use this system to invite skilled workers to their respective provinces and address their economic needs.
Candidates who receive the provincial nomination through any provincial nominee program get additional 600 points over their existing CRS score. This will effectively guarantee their ITA in the next draw.

Prospective applicants seeking Canada immigration through the British Columbia provincial nominee program through the Express Entry BC stream must create a profile in the Express Entry system and also register in the province’s Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
