All Canada immigration motivated applicants, pay attention! The latest Express Entry draw reportedly carried out on October 19--which also happens to be the second draw in eight days--witnessed a historic figure of the Invitations to Apply (ITAs) offered to the aspirants in the Express Entry Pool managed by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
While the preceding record for the figure of the ITAs given in a particular draw stood at 1,637, on March 27, 2015, it’s just the second time this year that two draws have taken place inside the gap of seven days.
Applicants--who have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) total of 475 or above, as of October 19--obtained the ITA. The same shows a major reduction in the points requirement with the reason being it is reportedly the smallest CRS total for any of the draws conducted during the previous six months.
The IRCC carries-out intermittent draws for the applicants in the Express Entry Pool, and through it, the ITAs are provided to the highest-placed aspirants in the pool.
Post obtaining an ITA, an applicant is left with 60 days to present a petition for the prized Permanent Residence (PR) to the Canadian Federal Administration. The administration duly aims to process the complete presented petitions inside merely six months. Main candidates can also comprise their accompanying other half or common-law partner, and any dependent kids, on their petition.
Reportedly, Canberra has regularly aired its plan to boost the levels of immigration and ease the corridor to PR. The September & October draws allegedly appear to have made these intentions rather clear, as the previous four draws have all observed a jump in the figure of the ITAs given. Hitherto, in 2016, 23,092 ITAs have been proffered to the applicants in the Express Entry Pool.
